Divyansha Sehgal is an independent tech researcher primarily studying platforms and their politics. She is also an MPP candidate at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Her research has focused on a variety of tech policy topics including intermediary liability, online gender based violence, platformed labour, privacy, and FOSS.

Previously, she was a tech researcher at The Centre for Internet and Society, India, and has been awarded the Young Leaders in Technology Policy fellowship through the International Innovation Corp (UChicago Center in Delhi) and the Omidyar Foundation.

She received her undergraduate degree in information science engineering from Cornell University.
